Hi, Is there any chance that your machine has 32-bit Windows installed? Here's how you can check it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/32-bit-and-64-bit-windows#1TC=windows-7 The same goes for Python version - perhaps your Windows version is 64-bit but somehow a previous 32-bit installation of Python shadows the Launcher's version? Please run the Terminal option in the Launcher, then simply run python on the terminal. I'd like you to please post the output of this here. For instance, on my Mac, I get this output:

` $ python Python 2.7.10 (default, Sep 23 2015, 04:34:14) [GCC 4.2.1 Compatible Apple LLVM 7.0.0 (clang-700.0.72)] on darwin Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.

` I want to see how it looks on your machine. Thanks!

Hi datodot,

Thanks for reporting this issue. We have a shipped an update in Dato Launcher which should fix this issue.

If it does not, do the following:

  1. Open a Terminal in Dato Launcher (click on the Terminal button
  2. Install Jupyter with conda install jupyter notebook

  3. Click on the Ipython Notebook button in Dato Launcher
