Tornado Stream is closed, cannot see the output message

Dear,

I successfully installed and run some examples here: https://dato.com/learn/gallery/notebooks/intro-regression.html

However, afer running gl.regression , the output Tornado seems closed...

File "\Anaconda2\envs\dato-env\lib\site-packages\zmq\eventloop\zmqstream.py", line 492, in checkclosed raise IOError("Stream is closed")

IOError: Stream is closed ERROR:tornado.application:Exception in callback <functools.partial object at 0x0000000025716E58> Traceback (most recent call last):

How can I enable back the stream in Graphlab and see the output in IPython ?

Thanks

Hi Brookm297,

If you are running the python file in your terminal, please use python -i yourpythonfile.py to enable .show.

I think this is related to the timeout of ZeroMQ:

"However, in practice this causes a lot more issues than it solves: we have to handle timeouts, on windows zeromq ipc:// sockets are not supported, etc. The sub-process model will be removed incrementally in two phases: Phase 1: Remove subprocess and switch from zeromq ipc:// sockets to inproc:// sockets https://github.com/dato-code/SFrame/pull/115 Phase 2: Removal of inproc:// sockets and switch construction of proxy objects with construction of implementation objects"
