A JavaScript error occurred in the main process

This error occurred when i installed Anaconda @60%. how can i solve this problem? :'(

Unfortunately, Anaconda doesn't support non-ASCII characters in the installation path, and this is likely causing the error you're seeing. A workaround to this would be to create a user account with only ASCII characters in it, and then try installing there.

Hi,Jon i had install successfully dato app on my desktop one month before and i also able to perform analysis but now suddenly the above error show. What can i do? and @OPzealot How you change your username? can you write steps ? Advanced Thanks.

Hi @sud_sfsp, you could try following the steps here to change your username, or following the steps here to create a new account alongside your existing one (if you prefer to do so).

I had this error too. I have Windows 10. In the @Zach link it said not to change your user name if you are running Windows 10.

I ultimately solved the install error by: 1. uninstall Anaconda (Control Panel --> Programs and Features) 2. rerun Dato Launcher, but changed the install directory to a folder I created called C:\Anaconda
