GraphLab Create import error via EC2 & Dato Launcher

User 2547 | 11/6/2015, 8:26:10 AM

I have a Windows 10 OS 64-bit. The AWS public IP address does not work, it essentially times out everytime. I can pull up ipython notebook just fine through the Dato Launcher, but I'm unsuccessful when I try to import GraphLab while I'm working in a notebook(ImportError: No module named graphlab). Also, do I need to use the AWS at all, because I see the graphlab folder in my local drive(I would rather not use it)?? And I think the Dato Launcher is just not connecting to graphlab for some reason. I tried to connect the two using Anaconda and nothing works. I must be doing something wrong. Please help.

Hello,

Can you clarify whether you have installed GraphLab Create on your PC? If you have done so, you do not need to use AWS.

Thanks. Jon

I think it's mainly a path issue. Can you help with that?
