Graphlab not using Multicore

User 207 | 4/7/2014, 6:34:59 PM

Hi i am using following command for partitioning the graph ./partitioning --graph=/root/snap_0.txt --format=tsv --partitions=100 --ncpus=20

where snap_0.txt file contains the graph in tsv format (edge list)

But graphlab still only runs on a single core!

Hi, The partitioning application calls a few graphlab programs like svd and kmeans. Those applications are parallelized. Maybe you are viewing the graph loading phase which is done using a single core since you provided a single input file.
